Murder Mystery
Ahoy there mateys – it is that time of year that the pirates need a break from their pillaging activities on the high sea so their Captain, Cap’n Walker De Plank accommodates their needs by a night of fun in the “Smugglers Inn”.
Gold and goods are a plenty but there is many a secret to be told. Who holds the map to a Treasure which has been hidden and who has it in for the murder victim during the middle of the festivities? Can anyone be trusted? Wenches, town folk and pirates will cause havoc tonight but who is keeping secrets and deceiving everybody at the gathering. Discover the motive for the killing and protect your innocence as well as discovering “who dun-it”. Draw your own conclusion by the objectives set in your brief to obtain the answers to the murder in the Smugglers Inn.

Theme for dress code; period clothing worn by characters is in the mid 1700’s years.

The Auld Lammas Fair
Ireland’s oldest fair returns to the beautiful seaside resort of Ballycastle for another year of trading, bargaining and a programme packed with entertainment!
Sample the famous local favourite, Yellow Man or Dulce, and wander around the Naturally North Coast and Glen’s Artisan Market, which features local fresh produce, quirky handmade crafts and fine art. Experience the hustle and bustle of the horse trading village, get a thrill on one of the many fun fair rides, or simply take in the atmosphere and local banter on the streets of Ballycastle!
Sticking with tradition, the main events will be held on the last Monday and Tuesday of August when the town is transformed by hundreds of stalls lining the streets, and visitors as far as the eye can see.
